Write for MeditationTruth.com

Want to add your 2 cents to the Meditation Truth conversation (and possibly become semi-famous)?

We're looking for interesting, insightful, provocative essays about meditation and spiritual practice.

Funny doesn't hurt, but it's not required.

Political correctness is off limits. No thing and nobody is above investigation.

We're NOT looking for the same-ole, same-ole about how to watch your breath, or how your teacher is the greatest thing since sliced tofu, or how meditation will allow you to manifest whatever you want. Your personal experience and viewpoint is more interesting than something you've read about in a book.

As you may have gathered, this blog is about taking sacred cows out for a walk and, occasionally, turning them into hamburger. So get out your BBQ sauce and start writing.

The broad topics we cover include:

  • Meditation
  • How to Meditate
  • Meditation Instruction
  • Buddhist Meditation
  • Zen Meditation
  • Yoga and Meditation
  • Meditation Music
  • Transcendental Meditation
  • Meditation Centers
  • Meditation Retreats
  • Meditation Supplies
  • Relaxation
  • Stress-Relief
  • Daily Meditations

You get the idea.

Essays should be 200-600 words. Include your by-line — name, email and/or website address, and a sentence about who you think you are (or who others think you are, or who your mother wishes you were). If we feel the need to make minor editorial changes — punctuation, grammar, spelling or clarity — we'll give you final approval of your content.

We cannot guarantee that we will publish every article submitted. If we choose not to use your article, we will make every effort to let you know why we passed.
